End Of Year Letter To Members

BY Tulfarris April 11, 2024

Dear members,

We are coming to the end of what has being a fantastic year in golf for Tulfarris Golf Club even with the unpredictable weather which tested everyone of us and might I say at so many levels.
Everything from the regular club competitions, the chasing of that 1st medal or indeed if you are lucky enough to win that Gold medal.Dedicating the many hours of practice to get your hands on one of the major trophies. The many tightly fought single and double match plays which often went into the dark of the evening to get completed. Racking up enough points throughout the year to be crowed Golfer of the year. The amazing dedication of the Interclub team members, managers and fantastic supporters which led Tulfarris to winning the Garden County, Fred Perry, Cullen Cup, Cock Of the Walk. As Captain I’m really looking forward to the continued enjoyment of playing with as many of you as possible in 2024, the banter, and no doubt great success for the club once again in 2024. If any member has not taken part in the Interclub competitions but would like to, please contact Mick Curran or myself and we can inform you of the competition you would be eligible to compete in.

We have included some photos from the last scramble and Interclub presentations.

Finally I hope you all have a wonderful happy safe Christmas and an amazing new year.

Yours in golf
Kevin.

Club Levies and Competition Fee end Date

BY Tulfarris April 11, 2024

Club Levies and Competition Fee end Date

Just a reminder that your 2023/24 Club Levies and Competition Fee expire on the 29th February 2024.

The Levies/Admin fee of €85 covers Golf Ireland membership registration, golf insurance, admin and license and IT support for the Competition entry/results Computer system. We ask that
members pay these levies by the deadline as insurance is a requirement in order to play on the course.

The Competition fee of €135 covers prizes and two’s money for competitions during the year (approx 39 comps). Competition fees can be paid as a once off, or alternatively members can pay
€12 entry fee per competition covered (Youths €100 or €6 per round plus €2 two’s, Juniors €35 or €5 per round plus €2 two’s). It is important that these fees are paid by the end of February as the
computer system will only accept entry for competitions for fee paid members from the start of March.

Yours in golf,
James Mulligan, Comp Sec

The club really needs you to put yourself forward, inter-club is not for elite golfers, it has a spread which covers the lowest handicap golfers through medium and high, so there will be a team where you will have the
opportunity to meet other members, increase the spirit of the club by sharing coaching and practice sessions and of course have the honour of representing Tulfarris.

Remember if you are not playing your support at a game is so vital as all the mangers will attest to that having ball spotters or members just cheering the team on can and does make a difference of winning and losing. So please support whatever way you can.

I would like to thank Mick Curran (Inter-Club team coordinator) for his help and to all managers for their time and dedication to this cause.

Wishing every player, team, and manager the best of success for 2024.

Yours in golf.
Kevin Higgins.

Sponsorship Comps 2024

BY Tulfarris April 11, 2024

Dear,

As everyone knows to run a club like Tulfarris, it costs money and plenty of it. We understand as a committee that all members have their own financial commitments,
however in saying that we are writing to members who in a position to become a sponsor either individually or by way of a company sponsorship.
This type of sponsorship will assist the club in being financially strong and to develop further the interclub programme for the whole club from juniors, ladies, and the men’s club.
You will see below that we have different sponsorship levels that will hopefully suit all budget types and what is included in return for the sponsors support.
If you are interested, please contact either myself Kevin Higgins Captain, Comp sec James Mulligan or the Hon.Tresurer Sean Atkinson who would be delighted to help you be part of
